What does Govcrest International do?

Govcrest International SRL is a Romanian trading company founded in 1991. It exports inorganic chemicals – soda ash, caustic soda, sodium silicate, sodium bicarbonate and others – and imports raw materials for the metallurgical industry, such as iron ore, manganese ore, chrome ore, anthracite, energetic coal & PCI and metallurgical coke.

Is Govcrest an exporter of soda ash?

Yes. Govcrest was founded to promote the products of its shareholders, mainly Uzinele Sodice Govora, the biggest Romanian producer of soda ash, and exports soda ash light and dense. It has become one of the strongest Romanian exporters of inorganic chemicals.
